Hello Class N, and everyone else!
It's so wonderful to be able to see photos of you all on the new website - you haven't changed a bit! I'm glad to see Miss Barron is working you hard - my class here at Hawthorn are also working on the elastic bands investigation!!!
I'm teaching the Y5/6 class full-time as their normal teacher is off long-term with - get this: NO VOICE! - so I'm back in the class, and loving every minute of it.
Let me know how you're all getting on, hope to see you all soon,
Ms Whiteside

Very nice to come across the site of high spen primary school –where my mother (born 1921) went to school (perhaps not the same building). I grew up in the north west of England but often visited my grandmother, Minnie Fairley and my great uncle Percy Askwith as a child in the 1960’s until my parents emigrated to South Africa in 1970. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who knew my family.
