park. The park had to meet the needs of children of many ages, as well as provide value for money.
To be successful, children had to work in teams, calculate the cost of the park and work to a very tight deadline. They performed these skills extremely well and in praise assembly this week, they each received a certificate for their hard work.
The photographs below show children working together and working alongside a business volunteer. This was because the workshop was part of a scheme run by Gateshead focusing on business and enterprise.
