Greenfingers club started up again during the 2nd half of the Spring term. Find out what they got up to…
Tasks so far have included...
- Making paper pots.
Seeds can be planted in these and them placed directly in the soil. The paper pot will then decompose and so the seedlings won't need to be transplanted.
- Finding signs of spring
We used our close observations skills to find out whether Spring was on its way.
- Willow weaving
We started making the fence for the raised beds in our Greenfingers area.
- Planting seed potatoes
We also planted seed potatoes in bags.
