Pizzas & garlic bread
Mrs Ford and Mrs Harrison were very kind helping Class N to make pizza and garlic bread.
First Aid training
Class N children completed the Young First Aider's course ran by St. John's Ambulance.

St. Oswald's Walk
On Wednesday 10th June, Class N walked 4K around Gateshead International Stadium to raise money for St. Oswald's Hospice.
Girls Soccer
On Friday 12th June, Y5 and Y6 girls from Class N represented High Spen at a mini-tournament organised by Mrs Needham and held at Hookergate.
They came 2nd out of 3 teams and won the Fair Play Award - well done girls!

Ladies in for lunch
On Friday 6th February, we were very fortunate enough to have some elderly ladies from the village come in and have their lunch with us. The Y5/6 children were very helpful collecting their plates and bringing their desserts.
After lunch, everyone went into the new extension to share 'geordie poems', take part in a quiz which involved identifying old fashioned objects and of course - a raffle!
The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we are all looking forward to future meetings.

Class N - We are year 5 and year 6 children. Our teacher is Miss Barron. We also get help from Mrs Ward. We enjoy taking part in PE competitions and doing research on the computers.
