On Monday 24th May, children in Class N visited Segedunum in Wallsend as part of their topic on Invaders and Settlers.
Class N are taking part in a 10 week programme to learn more about how handle to worries and anxieties.

The weather is improving and we are into our final term!
What will be happening in Class N during the Summer term?
Class N have been learning about the importance of Easter to Christians.
On Wednesday 31st March, Class N visited Bessie Surtees Tudor house to find out who this Tudor lady was.
On Thursday 18th March, children in Class N were visited by the school nurse.
Class Ns science topic this half term is about sound.
In today's lesson, we carried out lots of activities which helped us think about how sounds are made and how they are different.

Mrs Ford and Mrs Harrison were very kind helping Class N to make pizza and garlic bread.
Class N children completed the Young First Aider's course ran by St. John's Ambulance.
On Wednesday 10th June, Class N walked 4K around Gateshead International Stadium to raise money for St. Oswald's Hospice.

This week, Y6 pupils have worked hard to reach the stars and show just what they could do in their SATs.

On Friday 6th February, we were very fortunate enough to have some elderly ladies from the village come in and have their lunch with us. The Y5/6 children were very helpful collecting their plates and bringing their desserts.
After lunch, everyone went into the new extension to share 'geordie poems', take part in a quiz which involved identifying old fashioned objects and of course - a raffle!
The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we are all looking forward to future meetings.
