New School Logo

Here it is - the new school logo for 2025.
Hello at home,
We are incredibly excited to share our NEW school logo with you.
We are sure you will agree when you see it, that the designer we worked with (Jonjo McNeill) has done a fabulous job of incorporating so many of the key themes which came from our various consultations.
Through the form we sent out to you in March, the logo design task shared in April and the subsequent session with pupil representatives in May, the following key elements emerged:-
# Looking Out for Each Other
# Inclusivity - kindness to all (Jonjo explained to the children that the addition of a circle is often used to demonstrate inclusivity - a circle includes everything within it - spoiler alert on the shape we chose!)
# Love of nature/woodland
# Pride in our school building, especially the new mural in the annexe window
# Our local links to Red Kites
Important reassurance
Whilst we are really excited to update our logo, all items of uniform, bookbags etc. with the current logo are ABSOLUTELY still welcome in school. We won't be wasting paper with the current logo on and we certainly don't wish families to add to financial pressure by feeling the need to renew clothing etc. to get the updated logo. That said, we are working hard with the uniform supplier to ensure you are able to get new pieces of uniform with the new logo, should you be ready to do so. More uniform information to share early next week.
Perhaps what makes this new logo even more fabulous, is the fact it came about following a piece of work listening to the voice of our children. So if you see Joella (now Y7), please let her know her work is done! Love it.
