As a culmination to our recent skill and stamina building rides, today we cycled the Waskerley Way!
Rich Rothwell led us over the Stanhope Moors, down to Consett, along the Derwent Valley and back UP THE HILL to High Spen.
Last night, Joella presented her case for adding Malala Yousafzai as our 8th and final Class Hero.

Through assembly we are encouraging the children to put forward ideas they think should be in a High Spen Manifesto.

KS1 have enjoyed a gorgeous morning at the field playing Rounders in teams. We all had a great workout and certainly felt very hot by the end . Well done KS1, you're all super stars
