Respectful Relationships
Respectful Relationships
Northumbria Police's Prevention Through Education Team will be visiting our school on Tuesday, July 14th to deliver sessions to years 5 and 6 on Respectful Relationships.
The session discusses recognising one’s emotions, what makes a respectful relationship, the difference between good and bad secrets, and where to get help if something doesn’t feel right.
Please see the e-leaflet for parents/carers provided for information about domestic abuse. Whilst the team won’t use the term “domestic abuse”, this Respectful Relationships session is a precursor to the team’s Domestic Abuse session for secondary school students. We hope this information is useful for your awareness of this issue.
