School Uniform

We have adopted a simple, functional yet smart school uniform in the belief that it has many advantages.

Within our broad uniform policy we are sure that parents will be able to find clothing that is both suitable and practical, and we hope that all parents will support our policy of encouraging the wearing of uniform. Where sensory issues may make wearing traditional uniform difficult, please don't hesitate to speak to a member of staff.  

Winter

  • School sweatshirt / cardigan (red)
  • Shirt or polo shirt (white)
  • The above worn with skirt, pinafore or trousers (grey or black)

Summer

  • Red and white gingham dress
  • Shorts / bottoms (grey)
PE Equipment
  • Red T – shirt and shorts
  • Red hoody or jumper
  • Sand shoes / trainers, plain black or white shorts.
Swimming
  • Towel
  • Swimming trunks / costume (not bermuda shorts)
  • Goggles if required

Note: older children will take part in outdoor lessons in cold and sometimes wet weather, it is important that they have warm clothing and suitable shoes to be prepared for outdoor sessions.

Note: Not all year groups will go swimming. This will usually start in Y4 and carry on through older year groups if the need is still there.

Earrings: No earrings are to be worn in school. We have retainers in the school office which can be worn by children if necessary and which are safe to wear for the school day.
