We learnt how to call the emergency services and what to do if a fire broke out. We looked at smoke alarms and how they keep us safe. Some of us were able to try on the fire uniform. It was very big and heavy! Outside, we looked at all of the fire equipment and sat inside the fire engine. We practiced throwing ropes to people who need rescued from in the water and blew a huge fan used to blow away smoke. It was very powerful! One of our favourite parts was getting to squirt the fire hoses.

Overall it was such a wonderful morning creating magical memories Well done Y2!
